Hands On HealthCare Massage Therapy offers you only the top of the line Licensed Massage Therapists and Esthetians. We are dedicated professionals who pride ourselves in work with specific medical conditions. We offer bi-weekly in house training and give our therapists incentives to further there education outside of our office as well. Our therapists have diverse backrounds and therefore, offer a wide variety of modalities. They are client focused, skilled, and have a genuine passion for healing and improving ones health.

STAFF BIOGRAPHIES
Marla Kaplan-Pelle - N.Y.S. Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Lymphedema /Lymphatic Therapist, Director- A graduate of the Swedish Institute, Marla opened Hands On HealthCare Massage Therapy in February 2000. She counts her blessings that she has been given a wonderful staff and the ability to help the community. She specializes in Medical Massage and Manual Lymph Drainage (used for treating lymph and edema related conditions.) Outside of massage, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Marla was married to Tony Pelle in April 2006!
Barbara - Office Manager- Barbara has been with HOHCMT since April 2001. She is happily married and has 2 children. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis and yoga. She is a pleasure to have working here. 
Jeremy- Office Assistant- Has moved to sunny Delray Beach, Florida! But, he always has a job here!
Kerri - Office Assistant- Kerri has worked at HOHCMT since February 2009. She is currently going to school to be a Licensed Massage Therapists. She also works at a school with the developmentally delayed.
Erika - Office Assistant - Erika has worked at HOHCMT since March 2009. She is currently a pre-med student at Stony Brook University.
Johna -  Office Assistant- When you call HOHCMT during the day, you will most likely speak to Johna! Johna puts in full time hours and full time energy and enthusiasm. She is also a student at Northport Boces Cosmetology and expects to graduate in June 2011.
Licensed Massage Therapists: Here at Hands on HealthCare Massage Therapy and WDS, we work on a depth scale of one to five. Five would be the deepest level- One would be a very light touch. Each therapist has a corresponding number next to their bio
Jolie - Head Spa Therapist, Licensed Massage Therapist- Jolie has been with us since March 2001 leaving only briefly in November 2001 to give birth to her beautiful daughter, Natalie. Jolie graduated from New York College of Holistic Health Education in 1999. Her specialties include Swedish, Medical and Pregnancy Massage. In her spare time she likes to keep fit through weight training, walking and Yoga. Her favorite job is being a mom to her two kids. Jolie works on a depth scale of 3-3.5. 
Mary Anna - Licensed Massage Therapist. Mary Anna works on a depth scale of 1-2. 
Nicole- Licensed Massage Therapist. Nicole works on a scale of 4-4.5 Nicole loves deep tissue work, stretching and she jumps for joy, when she's booked to do 2 hour sessions! She's a terrific LMT, mom and wife! Oh, is her daughter a cutie!
Jody- Head Medical Therapist, Licensed Massage Therapist. Jody graduated from New York College of Health Professions in 2007. She specializes in swedish and Pre-natal massage. When she's not working or caring for her husband and two children, she enjoys gardening and knitting. Jody works on a scale of 4-4.5
Brenda Works on a scale of 2.5- 3. When she's not working as a massage therapist, you can find her cutting hair or taking care of her grandchildren! 
Shawn- Licensed Massage Therapist- Shawn has worked here for the past four years on and off. He graduated from New York College in 2005. He specializes in anterior neck work. He is very non-intimidating and he has a way about him that just makes everyone feel comfortable! He balances his work with being a husband and father. Soccer.... oh yeah!Shawn works on a scale of 4-5.
Carrie -Licensed Massage Therapist. Carrie loves to incorporate stretching into her massages. She prefers longer sessions to short ones. Give her a two hour session to due, and she's happy, but of course, one hours are terrific, too! Carrie works on a scale of 3.5-4
Vicki - Licensed Massage Therapist- Vicki has worked here since May 2009. She graduated from New York College in December 2004. When she's not working as an LMT, she's busy with her home life and her many friends, She works on a scale of 4-4.5

Katie - Licensed Massage Therapist- Katie has worked here since July 2009. She graduated from New York College in 2004. She works on a scale of 3.5-4
Michelle-Licensed Massage Therapist. Michelle can only be found here on Sunday afternoons. She is a chemist by day and mother by night! She gives an amazing massage. Michelle works on a level of 4-4.5
