| What is Aqua Med Hydromassage? |
Our Aquamed Hydromassage Table is considered a Physical Medicine Device and may be covered under your insurance when accompanied by a prescription from your doctor and a letter of medical necessity. We are excited to bring you this product as a compliment to our other services, "where improving your health and relaxation go ~hand in hand~ Our Aquamed Hydromassage System uses strategically placed rotating, pulsating jets of warm water to massage the user, while keeping them dry with a resilient, waterproof barrier. Fingertip controls allow the user to vary the intensity of the water speed, in addition to allowing for specific, focused areas vs.. a full body massage. The Aquamed Hydromassage Table combines the many benefits of whirlpool, massage and heat treatments into a single modality. The heat that supports the massage action provides important benefits to the users. Firstly, heat promotes increased circulation; oxygenated blood and nutrition that may be delivered more efficiently to the muscles. By-products, such as lactic acid are removed more effectively, reducing recovery and healing time for Weekend Warriors, our avid gardeners or even those that just hold tension in their shoulders, neck, back, etc. and are prone to muscle soreness or tightness. Secondly, heat brings blood to the muscles, which adds pliability to the muscles (similar to a wet sponge vs.. dry sponge.) This pliability allows an increase in range of motion and very often relieves the stress of the muscle tension, and in turn the stress of the user. And of course, heat is soothing and relaxing, promotes a sense of well-being and absolutely feels wonderful!

| How do I prepare for a session? Users are often relieved to learn that there is no need to disrobe. We suggest you remove bulky sweaters, jackets or unecessary layers of clothing so that you can maximize the experience. In addition, you will be asked to remove any sharp objects from your pocket or anything else that may puncture the protective barrier.
What can I expect? Supported by a sturdy nylon net and protected by a resilient barrier that prevents you from getting wet, you will lie on your back and be shown how to customize the speed and location of the “waves”. That’s it, lie back and enjoy!
Is the user enclosed by a cover? No. Our machine does not have a cover. Just lay down on the warm water filled mattress and you are in business!
Does the user get wet? Absolutely not. The Hydromassage System is fully designed to deliver a penetrating massage while the user remains fully clothed and dry.
How long do sessions last? Typically, sessions run from 15 to 30 minutes depending on the type of relief you are seeking.
How will I feel after a session? In a word... great! Hydromassage sessions help reduce blood pressure, increase circulation and encourage the body to release endorphins, which are your body’s natural painkillers.
